Officials said a man tried to talk a student into his SUV.

BEDFORD, NY — An attempted luring of a Fox Lane Middle School student was reported around 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 on the corner of Parkview Place and Lafayette Street in Mount Kisco. School officials said that a male driving a dark-colored SUV tried talking a student into the vehicle.
In an email to the community, Superintendent Dr Christopher Manno said the student did the right thing by running away and finding the nearest trusted adult to provide assistance.
