Bedford Bookkeeper Stole $892,558 From Former Employer: Police
Police said a Bedford woman has been charged with stealing nearly $900K from her former employer in Greenwich, CT.
GREENWICH, CT — Police said a 64-year-old Bedford woman who used to work as a bookkeeper in Greenwich has been charged with stealing $892,558 from her former employers over the course of several years.
According to the arrest report, Darlene Moonan, of Bedford, turned herself in to Greenwich police for an active arrest warrant on Aug. 12.
Patch's Richard Kaufman reports that Moonan was taken into custody and charged with first-degree larceny and first-degree identity theft, according to the arrest report. She was released after posting a $100,000 bond.

Moonan was given a court date of Aug. 27 in Stamford.
Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police Department said Moonan worked for a private family in Greenwich.
