Bedford District Kindergarteners Learn About Weather at Entertaining Assembly

BEDFORD, NY — Bedford school district kindergarteners gathered at Mount Kisco Elementary School for an opportunity to learn about weather at a recent assembly.

According to information on the Bedford Central School District, Mr. Joe and the Traveling Science Show taught the students about the relationship between temperature and the water cycle, while viewing demonstrations of hot air rising, thunder and lightning.

One demonstration had a “hot air balloon” rise up to the ceiling and then, as the air cooled, come down to land on Mr. Joe’s head.
