Bedford Economic Alliance Introduces Sizzlin’ Thursdays – July 13, 20 & 27th

Bedford, NY – Through the work of the Bedford Economic Alliance, the Town of Bedford is delighted to announce a new economic vibrancy promotional program, Sizzlin’ Thursdays, designed to showcase businesses in Bedford Hills and help drive traffic to the hamlet. Sizzlin’ Thursdays will run on July 13, 20 & 27th from 10am through business closing. Businesses participating in Sizzlin’ Thursdays will provide customers a special offer that will be available only on those days. Participating businesses have been working with the Bedford Business Promoter, Laurie Hilliard, to develop attractive offerings, leverage the opportunity to cross promote and avail of the Town’s support.

Adding to the vibrancy of the program, Destination 39.3 will launch Bedford Backstage, a live music summer series that will take place at 5pm at the Bedford Hills Train Station on each Sizzlin’ Thursday: July 13, 20 & 27th.

“Based on the feedback we received through the Bedford Economic Alliance survey, business leaders felt strongly about the need for cross-promotional support. With that feedback and the board’s vision for economic revitalization in Bedford Hills, Sizzlin’ Thursdays became the ideal program to advance all stakeholder goals” said Supervisor Ellen Calves.

“The vision for the Bedford Economic Alliance includes collaboration among many residents, organizations and businesses in town to support a vibrant community. We are thrilled that Destination 39.3 is collaborating with us and leveraging Sizzlin’ Thursdays to launch its Bedford Backstage series. We are excited for community members from Bedford and neighboring towns to enjoy great deals from our businesses, live music and take part in family-friendly activities” added Supervisor Ellen Calves.

We hope that this helps create excitement in the community for the 2nd annual Bedford Music Festival on October 14th.
