Bedford Hills Man Arrested For Felony Criminal Sex Act Involving Minor
Police officials said they are working with other jurisdictions and the DA's office, noting additional charges are possible.
BEDFORD, NY — A weeks-long investigation into sex abuse allegations has led to the felony arrest of a Bedford Hills man.
The Town of Bedford Police Department announced Tuesday night that over the past few weeks, the department's Detective Bureau had been investigating an allegation of sex crimes involving a minor.
Last Friday, as a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Rony Hernandez, 31, of Bedford Hills. He was arraigned in the Town of Bedford Justice Court on the charge of felony criminal sexual act 1st degree.

Hernandez was remanded to the Westchester County Correctional facility until a future court date.
Officials said the investigation remains active while the detectives work with the Westchester County District Attorney's Office and surrounding jurisdictions. Additional charges may follow, according to police
