Bedford Playhouse Grand Opening Is Underway

The three-day celebration features special screenings, food, entertainment and celebrities.

BEDFORD, NY — The Grand Opening Celebration for the Bedford Playhouse began Friday. Over a three-day period — from Sept. 28 to Sept. 30 — the newly renovated film, arts and cultural center will feature the debut of two new theaters, special screenings and a conversation with Paul Shaffer and Clive Davis.

The celebration kicks off a new chapter for the landmark after its $6 million-plus renovation and community effort to save the Playhouse that began back in 2015.

Opening weekend events include parties, family films, wine tastings, live entertainment and special guests.
