Altercations, trespassing, allergic reactions, man running into traffic.

BEDFORD, NY — Here are the most arrest logs, as provided by the Bedford Police Department.
Monday, April 17:
8:26 AM - A homeowner on Pound Ridge Road in Bedford notified police of a sick raccoon; when police arrived, they found the animal, now deceased, stuck between the metal rungs of the pool fence. Police referred homeowner to Westchester Wildlife for removal.

1:14 PM - Police responded to a domestic report on High Street in Bedford Hills involving a fight over a game system between two brothers. Police spoke to the boys, who did not appear injured. One brother agreed to leave the house for the rest of the afternoon.
3:37 PM - A one-car accident with air bag deployment occurred on Pea Pond Road in Katonah when the driver’s front passenger side tire caught between the road and the shoulder and the vehicle swiped a large rock. The driver refused medical assistance and no injuries were reported.

Tuesday, April 18:
2:57 AM - Police responded to a burglar alarm and motion sensors being set off at Fox Lane Middle School on South Bedford Road. Surveillance video showed two individuals, a male and a female, walking inside the school. Police say a 24-year old male from Mount Kisco and a 25-year old female from Dover, NH, were inside the building. The male said he was a former student at the school. There were no signs of forced entry. The pair said they found an unlocked door and entered the building. Police say criminal trespass charges are pending.
3:21 PM - A 12-year old female who said she was approached by a couple in a car as she exited the school bus and walked to her home on Meadow Lane in Katonah told her mother she was being followed. The mother spoke with the couple, who said they worked for a production company and offered the mother a flyer with their name and phone number, which she declined. The mother notified the police of suspicious activity. She was not able to identify the license plate number of the vehicle. Police say they have been in contact with law enforcement in neighboring communities, but have not been aware of similar reports.
Thursday, April 20:
8:34 AM - An 11-year old female who fainted at West Patent Elementary School in Bedford Hills was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by KBHVAC. Police say the child struck her head on a bookshelf when she fell.
8:48 PM - An 18-year old female suffered an allergic reaction after eating in a local restaurant. She was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital by the Bedford Fire Department from a vehicle she was riding in, parked on South Bedford Road in Bedford Hills. She told police she had frequented the restaurant but was not aware the recipe for the dish had been changed.
Friday, April 21:
6:14 AM - An 89-year old male experiencing stomach distress and dizziness was transported from his home on Beechwood Road in Bedford Hills to Northern Westchester Hospital by Westchester EMS.
4:09 PM - Police responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated man behaving in an irate and emotional manner at a hardware store located on The Parkway in Katonah. Officers speaking to the subject determined he was not intoxicated. The man, 57 years old and from Somers, said he was hard of hearing and spoke in a loud voice. He was escorted out of the store without further incident.
Saturday, April 22:
4:36 PM - Police responded to multiple reports of a male seen walking on Girdle Ridge Road in Katonah near Hook Road carrying five or more suitcases. The man, 43, from Katonah, said his girlfriend had kicked him out of the house. He refused to allow the police to call a cab and also turned down a courtesy ride to the train station, where he was headed. Eventually he did allow someone to drive him to the station. Police later observed him waiting on the platform preparing to get on a train.
8:34 PM - A 24-year old female in a vehicle on Woods Bridge Road in Katonah told police she was experiencing an allergic reaction to shellfish she had recently eaten. A medic was on scene when police arrived. The woman was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital by KBHVAC.
Sunday, April 23:
12:21 AM - Police responded to a report of an emotionally disturbed male on Springhurst Road in Bedford Hills. The call originated as a 911 call requiring a translator as the man did not speak English. Officers arriving on scene found a male, later identified as a 26-year old from Hempstead, running in and out of the woods and into traffic. Police were able to grab and restrain him. He was taken to the police station for identification, where it was determined that he had no criminal record. He was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital by KBHVAC and was able to communicate to emergency personnel that he had had an argument with a family member.
1:51 PM - A father on New Street in Katonah called police for help after an altercation with his 14-year old daughter; the girl had struck her father after an argument. The father did not require medical attention. The girl was upset and taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by KBHVAC for evaluation.
