Bedford Police Rescue Hiker Lost In Sanctuary
The man thought he was in a different sanctuary.

BEDFORD, NY — Bedford police rescued a hiker who got lost on trails in Westchester. Around 7:40 a.m. Oct. 18, police got a call from Leroy Junker who said he was lost on the trails of the Westmoreland Sanctuary.
Police soon learned that Junker was actually at the Arthur Butler Sanctuary, which is actually located across I-684.
Bedford police began a search for the man using a off-road vehicle, and he was located within a half hour.

Junker was brought out to safety without incident.
