Bedford / Pound Ridge Cub Scouts Pack 170's 4 Mile Hike

Bedford / Pound Ridge Cub Scouts Pack 170's 4 Mile Hike

On Sunday, November 13th, Bedford Police Officer Doug Romero met with Bedford/Pound Ridge Cub Scouts Pack 170 to wish them well on their 4 mile hike at Mianus River Gorge.

The cub scouts learned not only about local plants and habitats but how to respect their environment. They also learned they could push themselves beyond their limits as they hiked well beyond their expected rank mileage requirements - completing between 2 and 4 miles (depending on their age)!

Pack 170 is still offering enrollment to boys in grades K-5. If you are interested, their next open meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 14th. Please send an email to info@newyorkscouts.com for more information.
