Bedford Requests Bids To Build Solar Panel-Topped Carports

The police station is one location the facility will be constructed.

BEDFORD, NY — The Town of Bedford is looking to build a carport structure with solar panels for the town. The municipality is requesting bids for the purpose of retaining a qualified firm for the design and construction of a carport structure that will be capable of supporting a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic facility.

The PV facilities are proposed to be located at 307 Bedford Road in Bedford Hills — the town’s police station — and possibly one or more location. [Get Patch’s Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts here.]

All bids are due in the office of the town clerk, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, NY 10507, no later than 11 a.m. August 7, 2017.
