Bedford School Board Changes Calendar to Add 3 Half Days
Each of the days precede holidays or vacation.
BEDFORD, NY — The Bedford Central School District Board of Education has made a change in the 2016-17 school calendar.
The revision was made at the board’s Oct. 26 meeting.
There will be three early release — or half days —that will provide staff with professional development training.

According to the district’s website, the following days will be half days:
- Friday, Jan. 13
- Friday, Feb. 17
- Friday, April 7
Each of the days come before a long holiday weekend or school vacation break, officials said.
