Bedford School Board Develops Core Values Statement

BEDFORD, NY — The Bedford Central School District Board of Education developed a set of core values and team commitments at its August 10 workshop meeting.

A post on the district’s Facebook page said the reasoning was to “function optimally as BCSD’s governing body.”

Included on the list of core values were exercising leadership focused first on students and exercising effective communication and transparency in all public board matter.

The team commitments include being solutions oriented and honestly acknowledging the problems and celebrating achievements.
