A White Plains man died in an accidental drowning in Pound Ridge on Thursday. According to New York State Police, Alejandro Limon Garcia, 31 was servicing a water pump and fell from his canoe into Blue Heron Lake. Limon-Garcia attempted to grab the canoe, but was unsuccessful, police said. Police said he was unable to swim. Limon-Garcia was recovered from Blue Heron Lake with the assistance of the Stamford Fire Department Search and Rescue divers.Image via Shutterstock

A White Plains man died in an accidental drowning in Pound Ridge on Thursday.

According to New York State Police, Alejandro Limon Garcia, 31 was servicing a water pump and fell from his canoe into Blue Heron Lake. Limon-Garcia attempted to grab the canoe, but was unsuccessful, police said. Police said he was unable to swim.

Month-to-month flexible car lease company opens New York hub in Larchmont to serve surrounding communities
<a href="https://www.flexcar.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Flexcar</a>, the first and only month-to-month car lease company, today announced its expansion into New York State with the opening of its New York hub in Larchmont. The launch grows Flexcar&rsquo;s East Coast footprint and makes its flexible car leases accessible to drivers across the greater New York area.
