Bruce Yablon Level-Headed Choice for Bedford Town Board

To the Editor,

I urge Town of Bedford readers to vote for moderate candidate Bruce Yablon for Bedford Town Board.

Bruce Yablon is a leader in our community – a long-standing and dedicated volunteer who has “given back” selflessly to benefit all residents of Bedford, Bedford Hills and Katonah over his many years raising his family here. While we are grateful to Bruce for his service as an volunteer EMT and for his role on numerous citizen advisory committees at the local and county level, we also laud him for his rational, reasoned and collaborative style – much in contrast to his opponent who aligns himself with extremist “Tea Party” colleagues, including Nan Hayworth for whom he has served as district director (in support of her role as a pro-fracking, anti-immigrant, anti-women’s choice “radical” as she delights in calling herself.)

If you’ve had enough of the toxic, bullying style of right-wing extremists – including the hate-filled, attack literature they churn out to pollute our mailboxes and our environment – then don’t vote for one of their leading local cronies.

Vote instead for a level-headed, measured and dedicated public servant, Bruce Yablon for Bedford Town Board.
