Budget Revote Successful in Bedford School District
The first budget did not get the required supermajority.

Bedford, NY — The second budget proposed for the Bedford Central School District was approved by voters Tuesday.
According to unofficial results posted on the district’s website, there were 2,490 votes in favor of the spending package and 950 votes against.

The public was asked to OK a $126,804,885 budget. It was below the tax cap so it will only require a simple majority.

Reductions were made to all departments and schools. More than 50 full-time positions were eliminated under the second budget.
