The Golden Apple Chorus invites women of all ages to Sing Through The Summer with our a cappella barbershop chorus.Join us on Tuesday evenings, July 7 through August 18, and learn two songs to perform with the chorus at the Yorktown Lions Concert on August 23.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, July 7 through August 18 at 6:30pm, at the Mt Pleasant Town Hall, Tower Room, 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, NY.RVSP by email to gacsings@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
The Golden Apple Chorus is a women’s a cappella barbershop chorus, and a member of SingUnited International (formerly Sweet Adelines International).This award-winning chorus has been entertaining audiences in Westchester County for more than 50 years.

The Gallery at Yellow Studio

The Gallery at Yellow Studio invites you to the opening reception for the annual Yellow Studio Member Art Show on Thursday, July 9 from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Curated by Tina Villaveces, the exhibition brings together the work of 29 of Yellow Studio's Artist Members across painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and more, and is on view July 3 through August 9, 2026.
The exhibition is a portrait of a sustained creative community, rooted in the towns and landscapes of Westchester, the Hudson Valley, and Southwestern Connecticut. The artists come from different backgrounds and work in different ways, but each has made their practice a sustained and serious part of their lives. The works on view are united by the sense that making art is not separate from living a life, it emerges from one. Put your bird knowledge to the test at our Bird Trivia Night!
 Gather your family and friends, brush up on your bird facts, and join 
us for a spirited summer evening of avian brain-teasers on the patio at 
Bylane Farm. Questions will cover a wide array of bird-related topics.
Come with a team or arrive solo and 
let us match you with fellow bird enthusiasts (maximum five people per 
team). Whether you’re an eagle-eyed expert or simply here to have a good
 time, you’ll enjoy an evening of friendly competition, fun, and 
community. Sips and snacks will be served, and prizes will be awarded. 
The games begin at 6:30 PM, but you’re welcome to join us from 6:00 PM 
to mingle in the garden.

Discover the fascinating world of local butterflies in this all-new Butterfly Workshop with Naturalist Tait Johansson at Bylane Farm. This two-part workshop begins with an indoor presentation on butterfly ecology, behavior, flight periods, and identification, followed by an outdoor exploration of the Bedford Audubon Native Habitat Garden and sanctuary trails to observe butterflies in their natural habitats. Limited to just eight participants to allow for personalized instruction. Binoculars will be available to borrow.Saturday, July 11, 10:00am–1:00pm. Cost: $25 members, $40 non- members. Friday the 17th kicks things off with the sidewalk sale. Local stores set up right outside their doors with once-a-year deals on some of their best inventory. Get there early and you’ll have first pick.
Saturday the 18th is the main event — three streets turned into a pedestrian mall packed with bargains, food, live music, and enough kids’ activities to wear out even the most energetic five-year-old.
