The event will begin with welcoming remarks from Guiding Eyes President &amp; CEO Christopher Perry, followed by Deni's presentation about her life with guide dogs and her journey as an author. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive Q&amp;A panel, experience a live guide dog demonstration, and meet Deni during a book signing following the program.
Guiding Eyes guide dogs and puppies in our Puppy Raising program that are appropriate for public access are welcome to attend, as are other ADA-recognized service dogs trained for public access.

Demystifying Medicare&nbsp;is perfect for anyone trying to navigate our complicated healthcare system for older adults. The workshop is for people who already have Medicare, as well as those soon to be 65, planning their retirement, or assisting relatives and friends with their medical decisions.
Demystifying Medicare is offered as part of the ongoing work of the Westchester Library System to provide authoritative, actionable information that supports seniors in being connected and well-informed. In this free, engaging session you will learn about the various parts of Medicare and the costs associated with medical and drug insurance provided by the government and private companies.
Topics include original Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans, prescription drug plans (Part D), Medigaps (supplemental plans), and cost-saving programs like EPIC that can help seniors with limited resources.
Come and get a handle on this thorny subject in a user-friendly atmosphere. Plan on 3 hours to include some lighthearted interactivity and questions. Westmoreland Sanctuary and HVO are teaming up again to introduce the fun and adventure of orienteering to the community with a special 3-for-1 offer. Participants can pay for one beginner orienteering course and take up to two additional beginner or intermediate courses at no additional cost.
Never tried orienteering? Think of it as an outdoor treasure hunt with a map and compass. Participants navigate through the landscape, using a detailed map to find a series of checkpoints in the correct order. Along the way, they’ll put their navigation and problem-solving skills to the test while exploring the outdoors.
Orienteering is an active and engaging activity for a wide range of ages and abilities. Whether you're completely new to the sport or looking to build your navigation skills, the 3-for-1 offer is a great opportunity to get outside, learn something new, and explore Westmoreland Sanctuary and other local landscapes in a whole new way.

<h3>Overview</h3>
Immerse yourself in William Shakespeare’s timeless tales on a scenic stroll through Bristow Bird Sanctuary. Professional actors and musicians bring to life beloved scenes and songs inspired by Shakespeare’s greatest works. Visitors may encounter the romance of Romeo &amp; Juliet, the whimsy of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the magic of The Tempest, and the dark intrigue of Macbeth—complete with witches and sword fights—along with sonnets, madrigals, and more. Join us on a journey through nature and story.
Performance Details: This is an outdoor promenade-style experience where audience members are led down a walking path and encounter various Shakespearean vignettes. The total distance is less than a mile on a smooth gravel path with light gradation. The full experience is ADA accessible.
Groups of 15–20 will depart every 15 minutes from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM for a 45-50 minute traveling experience. Tickets Limited!
All ages welcome.

The Glass House Historic Museum and Cultural Site

The Glass House is a renowned historical museum and architectural modernist landmark located in New Canaan, Connecticut. As a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the 49-acre site offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the iconic residence and grounds designed by architect Philip Johnson. All tours originate from the Visitor Center and Design Store at 199 Elm Street, serving as the gateway to this significant cultural destination. The site provides a variety of experiences, including guided, self-guided, private, and group tours that showcase the Glass House, Brick House, Painting and Sculpture Galleries, follies, outdoor sculptures, and the surrounding 49-acre landscape.
