The 72nd International Debutante Ball

Twenty-six young women of distinction from the United States and abroad will make their bows at the 72nd Anniversary International Debutante Ball and Dinner Dance at The Plaza Hotel in New York.

This year’s debutantes represent Austria, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Greece, Scotland, and seven American states. Each debutante will be accompanied by her escort in white-tie and tails.

The Ball benefits numerous charities through the International Debutante Ball Foundation, which supports young people’s health and well-being, in addition to artistic and cultural education.

It is one of the loveliest and most enjoyable family occasions of the New York social season, where young women and men from all over the world meet one another and form lasting friendships.
