Celebrating Sister Kathleen Fitzgerald, S.C.
50 years at St. Patrick's School, 60 years as a nun and 80 years young!
For her work touching the spiritual and academic lives of two generations of students at St. Patrick’s School in Bedford, the parish and school will this year honor Sister Kathleen Fitzgerald, S.C.
Sister Kathleen not only celebrates 50 years on the faculty at the school this year, but also her 60th anniversary of entering the convent as a Sister of Charity ... and her 80th birthday.
“We want to thank Sister Kathleen for her many years of dedication to the service of the children of God and to her religious community,” said St. Patrick’s School Principal Sharyn O’Leary. “She has been a constant presence on the campus for half a decade, educating students in the Catholic faith while modeling for them a life given to God and faith. She is always there for families in need, offering prayer, guidance and support.”

To honor her service to the school, the parish and the community, St. Patrick’s is organizing a special celebration on Sunday, October 25, 2015, beginning with a noon Mass celebrated by Monsignor Thompson at the Church and concluding with a reception at the school. More details about the festivities will be forthcoming.

The school is also working on a memory book to present to Sister at the reception.
