A Chance To Discover 'Creatures Of The Night' In The Daylight
Kids can join a guided daytime nature walk to spot signs of nocturnal creature activity and meet Hootie the spectacled owl.

LEWISBORO, NY — We may not often catch a glimpse of our nocturnal neighbors in the wild, but the evidence of their vibrant nighttime routines are easy to spot — if you know where to look.
The Lewisboro Land Trust is giving kids as young as three a chance to learn about some of the fascinating nocturnal creatures of night without having to brave the dark. A 1-mile guided nature walk through the woods and meadows at Ward Pound Ridge will spot signs of nocturnal animals' overnight activities.
The tour will end with the children and families meeting Hootie the spectacled owl.
