Clinton Has Commanding Lead Over Trump in NY Among Likely Registered Voters: Siena Poll
The Siena Poll also shows Senator Chuck Schumer leading Wendy Long.
BEDFORD, NY — A new Siena College poll has Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton up 24 points over Republican challenger Donald J, Trump among likely New York registered voters.
Chappaqua resident Clinton received 54 percent of the voters in her column, over Trump’s 30 percent in the poll that was released Wednesday.
Trump, a reality television personality and real estate developer, has an estate in Bedford and properties throughout the Hudson Valley.

The former Secretary of State's lead in New York is up from 21 point last month.
The poll was a four-way match, with Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson getting 5 percent and Green Party’s Jill Stein getting 4 percent.

Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg said that Clinton is getting stronger support from Democrats than Trump is getting from Republicans.

He said Clinton has opened a 17-point lead with independents, up 2 points from last month.
“New York is poised to be a blue presidential state for the eighth consecutive election,” Greenberg said.
Slightly down ballot, Democratic incumbent Senator Charles Schumer has a sizable lead over Republican challenger Wendy Long.
The Siena Poll has Schumer at 66 percent over Long’s 27 percent, which is down from 69 percent to 23 percent last month.
