Community Center Of Northern Westchester Holds Food Drive

KATONAH, NY — The Community Center of Northern Westchester recently held a food drive and benefit radio show. Executive Director Clare Murray, Mary Ellen McLaughlin, Ellen Devey and “The Clubhouse” radio team were at the annual “Christmas Spectacular” at Grand Prix NY in Mount Kisco.

More than 800 pounds of food was collected for the center.

According to the center’s website, the Holiday Food Drive 2017 is collecting food and monetary donation for hundreds of neighbors during the month of December.

Items most needed are fresh fruit, mixed nuts, cookies in a tin, hot chocolate, instant or ground coffee and small boxes of tea bags.
