Cuomo To Sue Over Tax Reform Bill

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is taking aim at the recently enacted federal tax overhaul, calling it an “assault on New York.” He was expected to rail against the bill in his State of the State address Wednesday.

The Democratic governor said in his address’ briefing book to expect the state to sue over the law and lead an effort to repeal and replace it, the Journal News said.

The briefing book states that the new law will be challenged in court as unconstitutional.
