CVS Recalls Gold Emblem Abound Organic Spiced Herbal Tea
The manufacturer said the product is potentially contaminated with Salmonella.

CVS has announced a recall of an herbal tea.
The pharmacy chain said it has voluntarily recalled select cases of Gold Emblem Abound Organic Spiced Herbal Tea.
The manufacturer notified CVS that the product is potentially contaminated with Salmonella, according to a release posted on CVShealth.com.

The product is labeled “Gold Emblem Abound Organic Spiced Herbal Tea 1.41 oz” and was packed in 1.4-ounce cartons.
Available at CVS Pharmacy stores nationwide, the recalled product has a single best by date of 18 Mar 2018. The UPC code is 0 50428 541043.

CVS said no other best by dates are affected.
The company said about 200 units of the recalled product were sold prior to this recall.
No reports of illness have been brought to the company’s attention.
CVS Pharmacy said all the affected products have been removed from stores and a “do not sell” block has been placed in the store register system to prevent further sales.
Any customer who purchased the recalled product should immediately discontinue use and return it to CVS Pharmacy for a refund.
