DeCicco Family Markets To Close Cross River Store
An increase in rent is said to be the cause.

CROSS RIVER, NY — Because of a rent increase, DeCicco Family Markets decided to close its Cross River location. The final day will be Sept. 1.
The closing of the store came as a surprise to the company that owns the Orchard Square shopping center, the Katonah-Lewisboro Times said.
Adam Brodsky, director of commercial properties for EK Cross River LLC, said he had been negotiating in good faith with DeCicco Family Markets for about two years and that the proposed lease was below value.
