Road Closure Cleared In Bedford Wednesday A.M.: UPDATE
The Department of Transportation has suggested a detour.
BEDFORD, NY — The Department of Transportation said the road closed by a downed tree has been re-opened.
BEDFORD, NY — A fallen tree has forced the closing of a Town of Bedford road. The state Department of Transportation said that NY 117 at Nottingham Road was closed in both directions around 9:30 a.m.
The road could be closed for up to two hours, the DOT said.

A suggested detour for southbound traffic is NY 117 to Harris Road to Adams Street to Bedford Road and back to NY 117.
