BEDFORD, NY — State Department of Transportation officials said the closure of Route 22 in the Town of Bedford has been cleared.

BEDFORD, NY — A downed tree has forced the closure of a Town of Bedford road.
The state Department of Transportation said Route 22 was around 10:40 a.m. closed in both directions between NY 172 and Middle Patent Road.

Officials said the closure will likely be in effect for about six hours.
Delays can be expected, the DOT said, and alternate routes should be used.
