DWI for Bedford Hills Man

Police allege he was found apparently dozing in a running car.

Philip Kenny, 53, faces charges of aggravated DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Bedford Town Court.

Police were sent to Davids Way at 6:51 p.m. Feb. 23 after a caller reported a suspicious vehicle. The officer saw a man apparently dozing in a running car. Police allege Kenny, the driver, showed obvious signs of intoxication and failed sobriety tests.

The DWI charge was raised to “aggravated” because the Bedford Hills resident’s blood alcohol level was above .18 percent. His license was suspended for failure to pay a summons in Bedford town court, police said.
