Ellen Calves Announces Key Endorsements for Bedford Supervisor
Environmental Labor, Healthcare & Women's Rights Groups Get On Board with Campaign

An initial group of key area labor, environmental and women’s rights groups have endorsed Democrat Ellen Calves for Bedford Town Supervisor, noting that Calves’ executive experience and track record of community service make her well qualified to hold the office.
"I appreciate the support of these diverse organizations," says Calves, who is currently Bedford Deputy Town Supervisor. "Over the past six years I’ve worked closely with groups representing all sorts of political persuasions, managing projects, and implementing programs, initiatives, and outreach to serve the community. I’m ready to take these efforts to the next level to help improve the quality of life for all Bedford residents”.
“The Town of Bedford has delivered considerable accomplishments during these challenging times, but there is much more to do,” Calves adds. “We will continue to work hard to build back stronger than before the pandemic and move Bedford forward together”.
