A distinguished group of elected officials at various levels from across New York State and Westchester County have endorsed Democrat Ellen Calves for Bedford Town Supervisor, confirming that Calves’ expertise, experience and track record of community service make her highly qualified to hold the office.

The officials include US Senator Chuck Schumer, US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, US Representative Sean Patrick Maloney, NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, NYS Senator Shelley Mayer, NYS Senator Pete Harckham, NYS Assemblyman and former Bedford Town Supervisor Chris Burdick, Westchester County Executive George Latimer and Westchester County Legislator Kitley Covill. Additional endorsements will be forthcoming.

"I am honored to accept the support of these leaders at the Federal, State and County levels," says Calves, who is currently Bedford Deputy Town Supervisor. "Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with them and I look forward to building on these relationships to deliver results for all of Bedford’s residents”.

This month registered voters in Westchester County will have an additional early nine days to cast their ballot, starting on October 23 and leading up to Election Day on November 2. Details are available from the Westchester County Board of Elections.
