Invitation to a Brunch, Sun., Oct. 2, 12-2:30pm
The Bedford Democratic Committee is inviting the public to Celebrate the Democratic Difference as they honor Bedford’s four democratic office holders: County Legislator Pete Harckham, Town Councilmen Chris Burdick and David Gabrielson, and Town Justice Kevin Quaranta. The event will be a brunch on Sunday, October 2nd from 12 to 2:30 at the historic Travelers Rest on Route 100 in Ossining.
Since 2007, elected Bedford Democrats have succeeded in reducing the size of tax increases, bringing budgets under control, negotiating wage freezes and budget reductions from town employees and departments - initiatives traditionally touted by conservatives, while also executing more liberal initiatives for the benefit of the community and maintaining the services we all depend on. Our incumbent Democrats can be credited with finding and moving forward on innovative solutions to tough environmental issues, working cooperatively and persuasively with their colleagues and pushing for greater transparency and accessibility that is expected in today’s era of accountability

Each of the honorees will speak briefly and be available to answer questions in an informal atmosphere. The public is invited to mingle with Democrats from Bedford and our neighboring Northern Westchester towns for the opportunity to applaud those accomplishments we are most proud of and to begin a dialog about future priorities.
Tickets are $65 and include a full brunch buffet. Please reserve early as tickets are expected to sell out. For further information go to www.bedforddemocrats.org, and click upcoming events.
