Kids can learn to ride a bike, and their parents can stop and ensure their car seats are properly installed.
The Learn-to-Ride program is sponsored by the "Bike New York - Bicycle Education Program," which teaches young people how to ride a bicycle and give their parents tips on teaching their kids at home. The Bedford Police will be on hand to emphasize bike safety rules and bike registration.
Specially trained police officers will inspect carseats and advise on car seat safety.
