Senator Greg Ball will host an open forum to discuss transportation issues that could affect families whose children attend private and parochial schools.
In a December, 2011 position paper, the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents recommended that the State of New York should decrease the mileage limit for required transportation to a private school from 15 miles to 5 miles. This would affect many families who pay school taxes in their communities and fell they are entitled to transportation to their chosen school.
Come to Kennedy's auditorium to participate in the discussion of the issues involved.
