voter registration drive

Members of the League of Women Voters of Bedford, Lewisboro, North Salem will offer voter registration and membership materials to local residents from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, during the Bedford Free Library book sale in front of the library. Voter registration forms, absentee ballot forms and LWV membership forms will be available. First time voters, who have become 18 years of age by Election Day, November 6, will find necessary material available for registration.

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
