Expert Will Discuss How To Better Coexist With Coyotes At Free Event
The Wolf Conservation Center's Dana Goin will lead a talk on our "misunderstood and maligned" neighbors, hosted by the Ruth Keeler Library.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — For the most part, coyotes make pretty good neighbors. In those rare instances when man and beast come in to conflict, it usually has more to do with our behavior than theirs.
A free live webinar, "Coexisting with Coyotes," hosted by the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library and the Wolf Conservation Center on November 29, at 6 p.m., will help us do our part to live in harmony with wild animals we share space with.

There are few species in North America as misunderstood and maligned as the coyote. Yet to many, they are a symbol of resilience and a subject of admiration, a North American mascot and vital member of our ecological team.
Please join us for guest speaker Dana Goin’s talk about eastern coyotes, their history and ecology, and what we can do to best coexist with them. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the behavior and benefits of the eastern coyote and how to empower our community with the tools, information, and resources we require to peacefully coexist with this local canid.
