Former Curian Executives Join EQIS Capital

EQIS Capital, Inc. announced Richard P. Parker, formerly of Curian, has joined as Regional Business Consultant, based in North Carolina.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif.-- October 05, 2015 -- EQIS Capital, Inc., listed in TrustAdvisor’s 2015 America’s Best TAMPs,today announced that Zachary A. Stout and Richard P. Parker, formerly External Regional Business Consultants with Curian Capital, have joined EQIS as Regional Business Consultants.

“Curian’s impending departure from the TAMP space has created the need for many stakeholders - financial advisors, their investors, and Curian consultants - to make a transition. We are delighted that both Rick and Zach have chosen to contribute their considerable skills and expertise to EQIS,” said Dave O’Rourke, EVP and Chief Distribution Officer.

Rick Parker, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, will be consulting with advisors in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Rick graduated from the University of Tennessee and began his career as an advisor in Raleigh, where he is married and has two boys, ages 4 and 9 months. “Being a former advisor, I truly cared about each and every one of my clients,” said Mr. Parker. “I believe that advisors want to partner with companies that care about their clients in the same way. This is the very reason that EQIS was created, to Reinvent Wealth Management, by being innovative and delivering the best of what is available to the client and their advisor. After my extensive due diligence on EQIS, I finally found a company that will strive to always deliver the best to the end client, as well commit to truly partnering with their advisors by maximizing the efficiency in their practice. I am happy to be a part of that innovation moving forward.”

Zach Stout, based in St. Petersburg, Florida, will be consulting with advisors throughout Florida and Georgia. Mr. Stout comes to EQIS with a strong background in financial services, having spent time in numerous roles at Jackson National and most recently, Curian Capital as a regional business consultant in Florida.

“The universe of investment vehicles available to retail clients today is larger than ever,” observed Mr. Stout, “...and so is the amount of time advisors need to comb through it all. It’s daunting. The most successful advisors or practices I’ve worked with spend the majority of their time communicating, planning and meeting face to face with clients - not on fund analytics and research. I am excited to be joining a firm that has made that commitment to both the end client and advisors. EQIS has a true turnkey investment solution clients deserve, complemented by a full suite of functionality for the advisor that they need. It’s the best of both worlds.”

EQIS is a registered investment adviser that provides an investing platform which allows average investors to get the same advantages that ultra high net worth investors have enjoyed for decades, such as separately managed accounts with multiple institutional money managers, broad diversification, and tax efficiency.
