Former Fox Lane HS Grad Picked For Houston Astros
He was team captain at Yale University during the past year.
POUND RIDGE, NY — A Fox Lane High School graduate attending Yale University was picked by the Houston Astros to join its team. Richard Slenker, a Yale third baseman from Pound Ridge, was picked in the 28th round and was the 841st selection overall.
Slenker was a team captain for Yale during the past season, the Daily Voice said.
