Fox Lane 2020 Grad Set To Star In Netflix Spinoff Series

The Bedford native will star in "Freeridge," a spinoff of the popular young adult comedy series "On My Block."

BEDFORD, NY — A recent Fox Lane grad will lead the cast of a quirky new Netflix spinoff series.

Class of '20 alum Shiv Pai was tapped to star in "Freeridge," a continuation of the popular young adult comedy series "On My Block," according to Deadline. The show is slated to debut next year. Pai made an appearance on the finale of "On My Block" to introduce his character and segue into the new series.

In the show, the stories of Freeridge (the town introduced in "On My Block") will continue, following a new group of friends who may have unleashed a deadly curse). Pai will share billing with Bryana Salaz, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Ciara Riley Wilson.

Those who don't recognize Pai from homeroom might remember him from his roles in "Iron Fists" and "Uncut Gems."
