Gin Blossoms Will Headline Free Pound Ridge Harvest Fest Show
A battle of the bands competition earlier this summer earned three local bands the chance to open for the alt-rock idols.
POUND RIDGE, NY — The ninth annual Pound Ridge Harvest Festival promises to be an Oktoberfest, a food festival and among the biggest concert events of the season and admission is free.
If you want to see the Gin Blossoms at the storied Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado when the group joins the Barenaked Ladies and Toad the Wet Sprocket next summer, tickets start at $110 per person, but it you can't wait, the jangle rock superstars will be performing a free show at the Pound Ridge Harvest Festival on October 2.
Just because the festival features a nationally known touring band, doesn't mean the event doesn't have a decidedly local flair.
