Harley Davidson Rider Killed In Westchester Crash Is ID'd: NYSP
The 70-year-old Greenwich, Connecticut man was involved in a fatal head-on crash with a BMW on Saturday afternoon in North Salem.

NORTH SALEM, NY– The New York State Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a head-on crash as a 70-year-old man from Connecticut.
Edward J. Carroll III, of Old Greenwich, CT, was riding his 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Titicus Road just under a mile east of Oakridge Road in North Salem on Saturday afternoon. At around 2:30 p.m., he crossed the dividing line and entered the westbound lane of the roadway, according to accident investigators. He struck a 2007 BMW SUV head-on.
Carroll was pronounced dead on the scene by EMTs.

State Police said the investigation remains ongoing. The Westchester Medical Examiner’s Office also responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
The road was closed in both directions between Delancey Rd. and Oak Ridge Rd. on Saturday after the crash.
