Hazardous Weather Outlooks Issued Friday For Hudson Valley
Overall, the heavy rain threat is less significant than in past days.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Rain continues to overspread the region, and with that, the National Weather Service issued Hazardous Weather Outlooks Friday for the Hudson Valley. For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties, there is a low chance for localized flash flooding.
The main threat will be Friday morning and then again from later afternoon Friday into the evening.
Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties face additional periods of showers with some thunderstorms likely into Friday evening.

The NWS said that while some locations may experience some brief downpours, the overall heavy rain threat looks to be less significant compared to the past few days.
There is also a possibility of a few stronger thunderstorms Friday mainly for areas west of the Hudson Valley.
