Hazardous Weather Outlooks Issued For Hudson Valley Wednesday

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — An approaching front could produce thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts.

As a result, the National Weather Service has issued Hazardous Weather Outlooks for the region Wednesday.

For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties, the forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms late Wednesday into early evening ahead of an approaching front.

It could produce isolated instances of damaging wind gusts.

For Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties, there is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon into early evening.

The primary threat is damaging wind gusts.

The NWS said thunderstorms are expected to be isolated to widely scattered.
