Hearing On Lewisboro Housing Development Scheduled

Past comments have raised concerns over the project.

GOLDENS BRIDGE, NY — Whether the needs of the town will be met by a $20 million development was up for discussion at a recent hearing held by the Town of Lewisboro planning board. Developers want to build a 46-unit affordable housing complex on 35 acres off Route 22.

Concerns raised by some in attendance included the affect on traffic, having only one egress and the lack of back doors and fire escapes, tapinto.net said.

The next hearing will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 at Increase Miller Elementary School.
