CROSS RIVER, NY — Beware of heading to the theater for a night of entertainment — you might just find that the monsters we fear were actually amongst us all along.
Strange things are happening on John Jay Middle School’s stage in three acts. A cast of talented performers will bring the dramas of the past to life in vivid color.
On a peaceful suburban street, things are not as serene as they seem. Newlyweds stop at a roadside diner and play a fortune-telling machine that seems to know too much. An old man living in a rest home thinks he's found the secret of youth … Welcome to the Twilight Zone.

John Jay Middle School presents "The Twilight Zone" on Nov. 30, Dec. 1, and Dec.2, at 7 p.m. and a 1 p.m. matinee on Dec. 2.
The show will feature three episodes from the iconic 1960s television series: "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street," "Kick the Can" and "In the Nick of Time."
