Hudson Valley Girl Wows Judges on 'America’s Got Talent'

She and her ukulele will be appearing on the show again.

A Suffern 12-year-old charmed the judges on “America’s Got Talent” Tuesday and will be going to the semifinals.

Grace VanderWaal, playing the ukulele and singing a song she wrote, prompted comedian Howie Mandel to call her a miracle and hit the button that propelled her to the live performance semifinals.

Normally hard-hearted, uber-critical judge Simon Cowell gave her a standing ovation and called her “the next Taylor Swift.”

On Twitter, @GraceVanderWaal answered questions from fans about how she was feeling (like she was dreaming) and whether she was going to pursue music as a career (“heck ya:o)").

The song the Rockland County resident sang was “I Don’t Know My Name.” Mandel pointed out the irony in that soon everyone would know her name.
