Niche.com, which analyzes schools across the country using myriad factors, has studied which school districts in the country, and in New York, are the best at preparing students for college success.

According to Niche.com, the rankings are based on “graduation rates, AP enrollment, SAT/ACT scores and the quality of colleges that students consider.”

Niche.com has concluded the top 5 school districts in the nation for preparing students for college are: Bloomfield Hills School in Michigan, Palo Alto Unified School District in California, Scarsdale Union Free School District in New York, Princeton Public School in Princeton, New Jersey and the Edgemont Union Free School District in Greenburgh, New York.
Nine Hudson Valley school districts cracked the top 100 nationwide. Besides Scarsdale and Edgemont, they were Rye City School District, No. 11, Chappaqua Central School District, No. 12, Bronxville Union Free School District, No. 18, Byram Hills Central School District, No. 39, Blind Brook-Rye Union Free School District, No. 67, Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District, No. 73, and Bedford Central School District, No. 82.
