Inappropriate Behavior By 'Santa' Being Investigated at Poundridge Nurseries

POUND RIDGE, NY — Police are investigating reports of a man working as a Santa behaving inappropriately with children at Poundridge Nurseries.

Police would not confirm any suspects in the case and cautioned community members not to jump to conclusions based on social media posts, according to the Daily Voice.

A visitor post on the Poundridge Nurseries Facebook page warned parents that the person playing Santa “has inappropriately touched several children” and that complaints had been filed with the nursery’s management.

A reply from the nursery said that the concerns were being taken seriously and authorities were notified.

“Meanwhile, we will have a different Santa Claus worker for the remainder of the holiday season,” the post said.
