The information came from a spokesman for Entergy, the nuclear reactor’s owner and operator, according to a video report at News12.com.

A petition was filed by Friends of the Earth and other environmental organizations with U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit Thursday asking the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to prevent Indian Point nuclear reactor from being restarted.
