Greeley won the first, second, and fourth games.
The Horace Greeley Quakers beat the John Jay Indians 3 games to 1 in volleyball with game scores of 25-22, 25-20, 23-25, and 25-14 for a season opening victory Tuesday at John Jay High School.
Quaker Head Coach Gina Gomes said that despite losing momentum in the third game, her team was motivated to win it in the fourth.
