The action takes place in a New England mansion as seven guests gather for what seems like an ordinary dinner party. Then — suddenly — the lights go out and bright-red blood stains the manor's thick carpets.
The play asks the questions, Was it Colonel Mustard (Violet Oyen) in the study with a gun? Miss Scarlet (Sophia Cheng) in the billiard room with the rope? Or was it Wadsworth (Will Johnston) the butler?
Johnston, while taking a break from rehearsal, said he liked the whole mystery vibe of the play.
"The audience has to figure out who did it," he said.
